Not only in Liberia
Ritual Killing in other African countries

Freedom of fear is a human right
Rule of law an obligation of the state

Grossly speaking, the ritual murder cases reported below refer to the 2000 - 2013 period. However, research engines in those days weren't as powerful as nowadays. Consequently, I do not pretend to have covered all publications on the subject. In fact, I am sure I didn't.

Between 2013 and 2018 I didn't publish any ritualistic murder cases due to other engagements.

In 2018 I decided to cease reporting on ritual killings on this page. Instead, new ritual murder cases in African countries have since been published on a more general website Ritual Killing In Africa.

Interested readers are advised to consult this site and the individual country pages for recent developments in the area of ritualistic activities, superstition and witchcraft in African countries.

It is my intention to gradually transfer the older murder cases presented below to this general site on ritual killings in Africa. Unfortunately, at times this transfer is made impossible by the disappearance of the link to the source, the newspaper report mentioned. For this reason I decided to keep the pages below unchanged.
